Concentration Room

When life is not in order, your mind gets used to it or works to find a solution.

My writing started in the early years of the Iranian revolution, and my family was under attack by the government. As a result, I did not have a place to write.

I first became familiar with the concept of office at Brown University and then BMI. I had a room for myself. After three years in BMI, I had to move my office from university to home and at home, I was a mother, wife, and friend.

I scheduled to go to Starbucks, Cafe Bean, or a library for writing. But then the pandemic changed my writing schedule, and I realized I was used to working in crowded places.

I have recently set up a Concentration Room for writing. On Zoom, I connect with my students, who live all around the world.

In this way, I have made an order for me to work.

From 8 am to 12 pm and from 5 pm to 7 pm, Monday to Thursday,

We connect and work together, though everyone works on their own piece.

I have been running this program since January 1, and my work efficiency has multiplied.

Maybe the idea of Concentration Room will work for you too.

You can join us if you like.

Drop me a message, and I will send you the Zoom link!

See you next Sunday.
