Poetry
1-Recollection
There was you
And me
And the alley gardens
Sometimes a butterfly flew by
No strangers
A daffodil peeked out
An unripe persimmon’s cheeks
Would blush from the joy
The joy of us passing by
Together
Side by side
The river singing a love song under our feet
A small goldfish
Moving its tail
And running away happily
A gypsy dancing and
Playing her tambourine
And a bird whistling far away in the sky
Bird from faraway lands would know
And come from “Saeen” castle
Where snow storms rules the day
They would come from Shiraz, and from “Neinava”
From Persia
And from faraway deserts
They came to watch us
Walk side by side in an alley garden that did not exist
2-Look
I take off the silk of your love
From my head
I tear out the warmth of your breath
That was my robe
I reject your hands
As I slide off your bosom
Look
I get naked
I go and I go
And I reach
The salt lake
I sink into the ground so that I won’t suffer
I grow branches
I grow Leaves
When you come the next evening
To see the reflection of the moon in the lake
You will show me to the woman who is next to you
Almond tree
Almond tree blossoms with your voice
Almond tree
3-With the horse of my breaths
With the horse of my breaths
I trace you
You crossed the Green Valley Street
And must have reached the windmill
Or ghost town
Where gold seekers drew guns on each other
Go wherever you want to go
I will plant sunflowers on every single one of your footprints
Or who knows
Maybe orange blossoms will bloom here
Tomorrow
Shoulder to shoulder with dawn
All the people of this town
Will follow the sunflowers
My love
We have finally filled the town with flowers
You with your footprints
And me
With the horse of my breaths
